Saudi Citizens Can Acquire Instant UK E-Visa Starting February 1st

Instant e-visa options for citizens of Saudi Arabia wishing to travel to the UK will begin February 1st. 

The newly introduced system will allow visas to be obtained within hours through an online application portal, enabling Saudi citizens to visit the UK for a period of up to two years.

This development comes after an initial UK e-visa waiver scheme for Saudi citizens, which was introduced in June 2022.

Under the new e-visa agreement, British nationals will now also be able to enter Saudi Arabia with an e-visa by applying through the Kingdom’s Foreign Ministry website, anywhere between 90 days and 48 hours before their journey.

This single-entry e-visa allows UK citizens to visit for tourism, business, study or medical treatment for up to six months.
