The World's Tallest Hotel is Currently Being Built in Dubai
In this 82-story hotel, you’ll literally be sleeping on a cloud. Or, clouds.
In Arabic, there's a saying to describe the feeling of being in such a deep, serene sleep that you begrudgingly and very effortfully wake up, immediately yearning to go back – "eating rice pudding with the angels." It imagines the sleeper relishing a slumber so heavenly it transports them straight to the seventh sky, where delicious regional desserts await.
In an attempt to help travellers get a taste of this seductive-sounding slumber, Immo Prestige – a renowned Dubai-based real estate company – has decided to build the world’s tallest hotel.
Set to open this year, Ciel Tower will take visitors all the way up to the 82nd sky (i.e. the 82nd floor), where they can look out (or down) at the breathtaking metropolis from any of the 1,042 lavish guestrooms.
The Tower’s edge, which lies on the 81st floor at the sky terrace, is armed with a fully-fledged bar and a refreshing infinity pool, both of which offer unparalleled views of the Dubai marina, the Arabian Gulf, and the Palm Jumeirah.
In addition to being a tourist attraction, Ciel Tower will also make for a fascinating luxury experience for residents thanks to its various eateries, fitness centre, spa facility, and business centres.
