Wizz Air to Resume UAE Flights With Weekly Dubai-Abu Dhabi Service

Wizz Air will resume flights to the UAE from October 25th, with services to both Dubai and Abu Dhabi forming part of a wider restart across the region.

The airline said it will resume operations to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Amman across 12 routes, totalling 49 weekly flights. Its website currently lists October 25th as the next available departure date from both UAE cities, with fares starting from AED 289 per passenger.

Daily availability is also shown on the airline’s booking platform, with fares increasing closer to the winter travel season.

Wizz Air had suspended its Abu Dhabi operations on September 1st, 2025, citing geopolitical conditions, regulatory challenges and competition as reasons for exiting the joint venture.

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi was established as a joint venture between ADQ and Wizz Air Holdings. In 2024, the airline operated more than 19,000 flights to and from Abu Dhabi and carried over 3.5 million point-to-point passengers, according to the Abu Dhabi Media Office.
