New Hotel Will Be Built on Site of National Party HQ in Downtown Cairo
The government previously announced that a portion of the land will be given to the nearby Egyptian Museum.

The plot of land that had once belonged to the headquarters of the National Party in Downtown Cairo will soon be repurposed for a new hotel, according to the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
In January 2023, the Egyptian government announced that the former headquarters of the National Party would be demolished, with a portion of the land given to the nearby Egyptian Museum in Tahrir.
The government will contribute the land in exchange for a 25% share of the revenues. Within two weeks, the project will be awarded to an investment company after evaluating their proposals.
