Ahmed Mekki & Maged El Kedwany Reunite in New Film 'Happy Chance'

Filming is set to begin on 'Happy Chance', a new feature film starring Ahmed Mekki and Maged El Kedwany, bringing the two actors together on a new cinema project after years away from the big screen together.

Directed by Ahmed El Gendy and produced by Tamer Morsi for Synergy Plus, the film is scheduled to enter principal photography this week following the completion of initial pre-production.

According to Synergy Plus, work is continuing to finalise contracts with the remaining cast, with additional casting announcements expected in the coming days as production moves forward.

The film marks Ahmed Mekki's return to Egyptian cinema, with his last feature film appearance coming in 2013's 'Samir Abu El Nil', in which he starred alongside Nicole Saba and Mohamed Lotfy. The comedy was directed by Amr Arafa.
