The magic is back in AlUla with the arrival of ‘Winter at Tantora,’ one of the region’s most anticipated cultural festivals. 

Embracing its roots deeply intertwined with the local heritage, the name ‘Winter at Tantora’ pays homage to a time-honored sundial with profound cultural significance to the region's inhabitants. This ancient timekeeping device served as a beacon, guiding the people through the changing seasons and heralding the arrival of the planting season at the onset of winter.

Today, returning with a fifth iteration, this cherished tradition has blossomed into a joyous celebration, brimming with opulent events, illustrious concerts featuring A-list performers, exhilarating adventures, and a rich tapestry of historical heritage. 

The festival will be running from December 21, 2023 to January 27, 2024.

Shorfat AlJadidah

December 21st, 22nd & 28th, 29th

This wildly inventive musical experience, back for its second year, transfigures balconies into stages, with renowned musicians serenading audiences gathered below. The Saudi National Orchestra headlines the first weekend, followed by the renowned Egyptian Choir Rouh Al Shara on the second.
