Asser Yassin Took Method Acting to Wegz’s Concert

Egyptian actor Asser Yassin recently made an unexpected appearance at rapper Wegz’s concert in El Alamein. What initially seemed like a casual cameo turned out to be a deliberate move: Yassin was fully in character as “Fadl”, the role he’s currently filming for the upcoming film ‘Watar Wahed’. The actor shared with us an exclusive first look with behind-the-scenes stills.

The film, written and directed by Ali El Arabi, stars Wegz alongside Yassin, Mayan El Sayed, and Tara Emad, and is produced by Ambient Light and Film Square. So yes, the tattoos and piercing are costumes.
