Ministry of Health Honours Riham Haggag for Ramadan Series ‘Tawabea’

The Ministry of Health and Population has honoured actress Riham Haggag for her role in the Ramadan drama ‘Tawabea’, citing the series’ public awareness messages addressing societal issues.

Haggag shared a video of the recognition and described it as both an honour and a responsibility, noting that she was pleased the message of ‘Tawabea’ had resonated and addressed important issues in Egyptian households.

She also thanked Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar for the recognition, adding that she believes art carries a role beyond performance, serving as a voice for people and a driver of positive change. ‘Tawabea’ airs during the first half of Ramadan.

The drama follows a psychology-focused influencer who becomes entangled in a murder case, exploring themes of digital identity, social influence and human relationships as the narrative unfolds.
