Mohamed Ramadan to Return to Ramadan TV in 2027

Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan is set to lead a new television series scheduled for the Ramadan 2027 drama season, marking his return to Ramadan television after a three-year absence since 'Gaafar El Omda'.
The series will be written by Ahmed Mourad ('The Blue Elephant', 'Kira & El Gin') and directed by Peter Mimi ('El Hashashin', 'Al Ekhteyar'), with production led by Sadiq Al-Sabbah. According to Al-Sabbah, the project belongs to the shaabi drama genre and is being developed on a larger production scale, with filming expected to begin in September.
Mourad has reportedly already completed four episodes of the script, with the series being described as a large-scale production in terms of both story and execution.
The series marks a renewed collaboration between Ramadan and Al-Sabbah following their earlier work together on Ibn Halal. Preparations for the production are currently underway ahead of the scheduled September shoot.
