Reimagine Time Using AI: Hafez Gallery & MNWR Announce Open Call
Arab artists are invited to explore memory, identity and time through AI. Applications are open until August 15th.
Saudi Arabian art spaces Hafez Gallery and MNWR have launched an open call for 'Past, Present, Future', an upcoming exhibition inviting artists from across the Arab world to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping memory, identity and our perception of time.
The exhibition is seeking works that engage with machine learning, generative tools and algorithmic processes, encouraging artists to consider how AI can preserve, distort or reimagine the relationship between the past, present and future.
Founded in Jeddah in 2014, Hafez Gallery champions contemporary Arab artists, while MNWR is a Saudi non-profit creative hub supporting practitioners across disciplines including visual art, architecture, literature, film, music and design.
Applications are open until August 15th.
