Sharjah International Book Fair Returns November 6th-17th
The theme of the 43rd edition will be ‘It Starts with a Book’, with Morocco as the Guest of Honour.
The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is set to return for its 43rd edition from November 6th to 17th, under the theme ‘It Starts with a Book’. Organized by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), this year’s fair will bring together a mix of local, Arab, and international publishers, along with renowned authors, intellectuals, and creatives from various fields.
The event, known for being one of the largest book fairs in the region, will serve as a platform for critical literary, cultural, and intellectual discussions, offering a space for experts to share their insights with a global audience. Attendees can anticipate a packed agenda of book signings, workshops, and artistic performances.
This year’s Guest of Honour will be the Kingdom of Morocco, celebrated for its rich cultural heritage. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore Morocco’s literary traditions through a specially curated program featuring roaming shows, cultural forums, and performances that highlight the diversity of Moroccan culture.
