'Siko Siko' Trailer Drops Ahead of Eid Al Fitr Premiere
Starring Taha Desouky and Essam Omar, the new Egyptian comedy hits cinemas March 30th.
The official trailer for Egyptian comedy film 'Siko Siko' has just dropped ahead of its Eid Al Fitr release. The film features rising stars Taha Desouky (‘Welad al-Shams’) and Essam Omar (‘Seeking Haven for Mr Rambo’), alongside the likes of Khaled El Sawy, Bassem Samra, Tara Emad, Diana Hesham and Ali Sobhy.
Directed by Omar El Mohandes and written by Mohamed El Dabbah, 'Siko Siko' follows two cousins from a middle-class background who inherit extremely valuable - and extremely illegal - goods from their late uncle. They devise an elaborate plan to liquidate them by creating a mobile game called 'Siko Siko' and selling these goods through it. It’s all fun and games until a mob boss turns up asking for his goods back.
The film is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across Egypt on March 30th, 2025, aligning with the Eid Al Fitr celebrations
