Sotheby’s to Hold First Marquee Auction Series in Abu Dhabi

Sotheby’s will bring its first marquee auction series to Abu Dhabi this December, in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office. Held from December 2nd to the 5th at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, the four-day programme will include auctions of jewellery, rare timepieces, collector cars, and real estate, alongside a curated fine art exhibition.

A landmark single-owner collection estimated to exceed USD 20 million will be among the highlights, showcasing vintage watches and signed jewels, including The Desert Rose, the largest Fancy Vivid Orangy Pink Diamond ever graded. RM Sotheby’s will also present rare collector cars, including a 2017 Pagani Zonda 760 Riviera, a 2010 Aston Martin One-77, and three future McLaren competition models.

Collectors’ Week coincides with one of Abu Dhabi’s busiest cultural and financial periods, aligning with the Formula One Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Finance Week. Ahead of the event, select auction highlights will tour internationally before returning to the UAE.
