So, what's your take? If it's that 'SubwayTakes' host Kareem Rahma should get an award, Instagram 100% agrees with you. The Egyptian-American creator has been named one of 25 winners of Instagram’s 2026 Rings Awards, the platform’s annual recognition programme celebrating creators for originality, creative risk-taking and cultural impact.
Rahma is best known as the creator and host of ‘SubwayTakes’, the interview series filmed aboard New York City subway trains in which guests are asked to defend a single opinion.
