WATCH: Acclaimed Composer Hesham Nazih on the Sound of Cinema

It’s rare for a film composer to achieve celebrity status, and even rarer for a film score to become the ringtone of millions. Yet one trailblazing talent has carved out a unique space for himself: Hesham Nazih.

From his early days playing guitar in Khairy Beshara’s classic film Ice Cream Fi Gleam (1992) to receiving an Emmy nomination for Disney’s Moon Knight (2022), Nazih’s compositions have become synonymous with many of Egyptian cinema’s iconic films and television series.
