It's time to defy gravity! 'Wicked the Musical’, the Broadway production that reimagines the story of the Witches of Oz, will be staged in the UAE for the first time in 2026. Co-presented by Broadway Entertainment and Dubai Opera, the show will run from January 28th to February 15th.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the production follows the intertwined story of Elphaba and Glinda, charting their journey from their time at Shiz University to their contrasting roles in the city of Oz. The musical has been a staple of Broadway since 2003, drawing audiences worldwide with its reinterpretation of a familiar tale through song and dance.

Ticket prices are yet to be announced, with updates to be shared via Dubai Opera’s official channels.
