Dealfuze Launches AI Platform for Early-Stage Startup Discovery

Dealfuze, a London-based startup discovery platform with a focus on the Middle East and Africa, has opened a closed beta waitlist ahead of what it describes as the region’s first algorithmically curated Online Demo Day scheduled for May 20th, 2026.

The platform is designed for pre-seed, seed, and early-stage fundraising rounds and uses artificial intelligence systems to match founders and investors based on sector focus, investment thesis, stage, geography, and strategic alignment.

According to the company, the model is intended to replace traditional venture outreach processes and closed-network introductions with a more data-driven discovery system.

The online event is being co-hosted with Builders Tribe and will feature startups selected through Dealfuze’s matching engine.

Investors confirmed for the event include representatives from A-Typical Ventures, Blossom Capital, Emtech VC, Launch Africa Ventures, Pennington Promise Capital, and Shorooq Partners, alongside regional and international investors typically deploying between $50,000 and more than $1 million.

According to the company, the platform is particularly focused on founders often overlooked by traditional venture ecosystems, including entrepreneurs in rural communities, refugee founders, founders with disabilities, female founders, and first-time startup builders operating outside major regional centres.

The company cited wider industry data showing that Africa continues to account for less than 1% of global venture funding despite representing approximately 18% of the global population, while only a small percentage of seed-stage startups progress to Series A funding rounds.
