Egypt-based adtech startup dKilo has raised $3.2 million in seed funding from Upturn Ventures during the Leap 2024 conference that took place in Riyadh last week.
Founded in 2020 by Mohamed Mousa and Sherif Abdelaty, dKilo enables brands to increase their reach beyond traditional online platforms, providing new opportunities for e-commerce businesses to enhance their visibility and drive conversions.
The investment, which includes a mix of equity and financing, aims to boost home advertising in the Saudi market.
Additionally, the startup plans to establish a new channel for brands to connect and engage with customers, using mobility to reach target audiences in real-world settings while managing the process through its online platform. Through such innovative street advertising techniques, dKilo hopes to transform the way businesses interact with their customers.
