Fintech Valu Launches Egypt’s First Instant Cashback Loyalty Programme
The company says the new offering is Egypt's first payment loyalty programme to provide cashback immediately after purchases.
Valu has launched what it describes as Egypt's first instant cashback loyalty programme for payments, allowing customers to receive cashback immediately after completing eligible transactions instead of waiting to accumulate reward points.
The programme grants cashback as soon as a qualifying purchase is completed. Customers can redeem their rewards in cash by topping up their Valu prepaid card, while real-time notifications allow users to track cashback earned after transactions made using their Valu credit limit.
The programme has been rolled out across several products within Valu's ecosystem, including its merchant network, prepaid card limit top-ups, Sha2labaz and the Shop'IT in-app checkout service. Customers completing interest-bearing financing transactions receive cashback based on the financed amount, while promotional offers—including zero-interest instalment plans, Spark'IT, cashback campaigns and discount promotions—remain eligible for additional cashback.
According to Valu, earned cashback remains valid for one year from the date of each eligible transaction.
The company said the programme is intended to simplify customer rewards by replacing traditional points-based systems with immediate cashback, while strengthening engagement across its digital payments and consumer finance platform.
