International Programme for Women in Digital Trade Launches in UAE

The General Women's Union, in partnership with AD Ports Group, has launched the international track of the Atlaq Training Programme, expanding the initiative to support women pursuing careers in digital trade and logistics.

Launched under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the new track broadens the programme's scope with a focus on developing leadership skills and specialised capabilities in sectors linked to digital commerce, supply chains and logistics.

According to the organisers, the international track is designed to prepare women for emerging opportunities created by the digital transformation of global trade, while strengthening professional skills in logistics and related industries.

The programme forms part of ongoing cooperation between the General Women's Union and AD Ports Group to expand training opportunities for women and support greater participation in sectors undergoing rapid technological change.
