Propeller VC Brings MENA Startups to Silicon Valley Residency
Kernel Camp embeds MENA founders in Silicon Valley to build networks, refine products and access capital.
Global venture capital firm Propeller VC has welcomed the first cohort of its Kernel Camp programme to Silicon Valley, hosting five startups from Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan and Egypt for an eight-week deep-tech residency.
The programme is designed to embed founders within the Bay Area ecosystem, providing direct access to engineers, operators and investors working at the forefront of artificial intelligence and software development.
The inaugural cohort includes OORB from Tunisia, a cloud robotics platform; Eli by Techbible from Morocco, an AI stack management tool; Firstflow from Jordan, which builds onboarding and analytics systems for AI agents; Egypt-based Nexguards, focused on cyber attack simulation and security awareness; and Flowbrave from Morocco, an AI-driven operations platform.
Kernel Camp aims to address the limited access MENA founders face when entering global tech networks by placing them directly within Silicon Valley’s ecosystem and facilitating connections across the AI landscape.
“Kernel Camp is a statement of our belief in the extraordinary talent emerging from the MENA region. Seeing this cohort land in Silicon Valley is a milestone we’ve been building toward since the launch of Fund III. These founders are technically exceptional, and this environment will push them to build faster, think bigger, and connect with the networks that matter most at this stage of their journey,” said Zaid Farekh, Founder and Managing Partner at Propeller.
The residency includes sponsored housing, workshops, mentorship sessions and site visits to leading technology companies and venture firms, culminating in a demo day in May 2026 for the firm’s network in the Bay Area.
Founded in 2017, Propeller operates across Amman, Riyadh, Boston and Silicon Valley, and recently launched a $50 million fund focused on early-stage startups building AI infrastructure, developer tools and advanced software across MENA and the United States.
