Raedbots Launches as Egypt’s First Industrial Robotics Manufacturer
Launching amid surging regional demand for automation, the startup says its locally built systems can cut costs by up to 50% versus imports.
Raedbots, an Egypt-based industrial robotics company founded in 2026 by Mohamed Ibrahim and Hamza El-Sahiti, has launched as a local manufacturer, positioning itself as the first of its kind in the country. Operating from facilities in Cairo, the company develops AI-powered industrial robots, building its full technology stack in-house across hardware, electronics, control systems and AI software.
The initial product focus includes robotic arms for welding and CNC machine tending, as well as systems for material handling, packaging and warehouse automation, targeting growing demand for automation across regional industries.
“We aren't just building industrial robots; we are providing integrated robotic solutions that help facilities and factories optimise productivity, reduce costs, and enhance safety standards,” Ibrahim said.
Raedbots said its vertically integrated approach allows it to tailor systems to local manufacturing environments, offering solutions that can reduce costs by up to 50% compared to imported alternatives while maintaining operational precision.
The company’s platforms are described as “smart industrial robots” powered by physical AI, combining proprietary hardware with custom algorithms to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Its roadmap includes the development of multipurpose robotic systems, collaborative robots and high-speed automation platforms, alongside software designed to simplify adoption across different industrial settings.
Raedbots is part of the NVIDIA Inception programme, using simulation and AI tools to accelerate development, and also participates in the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
