First Look at Ali El-Araby’s Sports Drama '52 Blue'
52 Blue was produced by Egyptian production company Ambient Light Film, with cinematography by Mahmoud Beshir, choreography by Layla Ghaleb and editing by Marion Tuor.
Egyptian filmmaker Ali El-Araby just unveiled the trailer and poster for his latest film ‘52 Blue’, an international sports drama shot across India. El-Araby is most known for his work as director and producer of acclaimed sports documentary 'Captains of Zaatari'.
Starring Life of Pi’s Adil Hussain, Neha Dhupia, Yadav Shahidhar, Arya Appukattan - and a special appearance by Egyptian rapper Wegz - the film follows Ashish, a young man who escapes twelve years of isolation on a remote island in search of his only friend, Messi, only to find himself amid the chaos behind the scenes of the 2022 World Cup.
52 Blue was produced by Egyptian production company Ambient Light Film, with cinematography by Mahmoud Beshir, choreography by Layla Ghaleb and editing by Marion Tuor. The film will premiere at Washington DC International Film Festival on April 19th.
Ali El-Araby is also currently working on an upcoming film titled 'Watar Wahed', starring Wegz, Asser Yassin, Tara Emad and Mayan El Sayed.
