Saudi Edtech Startup Ynmo Raises $5 Million Investment
The fund will allow Ynmo to enhance its features, making early childhood services more accessible to children with disabilities.
Ynmo, a Saudi edtech startup focused on improving education and rehabilitation for children with disabilities, has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Wa'ed Ventures, the $500 million venture capital arm of Aramco. This funding round also includes contributions from Qatar Development Bank and Nour Nouf Ventures.
Founded in 2017, Ynmo offers a comprehensive platform that organises various rehabilitation and educational services. This platform looks to empower specialists to design tailored programs using artificial intelligence, and connect parents with a network of qualified professionals, simplifying the process of finding necessary support.
“Ynmo represents an outstanding impact-driven platform that leverages technological advancements to deliver high-quality educational and rehabilitative services,” Eng. Anas Al-Qahtani, Acting CEO of Wa’ed Ventures, says. “We are excited to collaborate with the team and drive meaningful change in the region by fostering an inclusive environment for children with disabilities.”
Wa’ed Ventures’ investment will allow Ynmo to enhance its features, making early childhood services more accessible for children with disabilities. The hope is that by fostering stronger partnerships with government agencies and educational institutions in the Gulf region, Ynmo will be able to create a more collaborative approach to supporting these children.
