Saudi's Property7 Ventures Joins $200M Funding Round for Upscale AI

Networking remains a critical challenge to scaling artificial intelligence; US-based AI networking infrastructure company Upscale AI raised $200 million in Series A financing with participation from Prosperity7 Ventures. The round was led by Tiger Global, Premji Invest and Xora Innovation, with additional backers including Maverick Silicon, StepStone Group, Mayfield, Intel Capital and Qualcomm Ventures.

Founded in 2025, Upscale focuses on one of the most persistent challenges in scaling AI: networking. As demand for large-scale training and inference grows, traditional infrastructure often struggles to keep GPUs, accelerators, memory and storage operating efficiently together. Upscale’s approach centres on integrating these components into a single, synchronised system designed to reduce latency and complexity.

At the core of the company’s offering is SkyHammer, a purpose-built scale-up networking solution that creates what Upscale describes as a “unified rack”. By collapsing the physical and performance distance between accelerators, memory and storage, the system is intended to improve data movement and unlock higher efficiency across AI workloads.

Upscale plans to use the new funding to build out a full-stack platform spanning silicon, systems and software, while expanding its engineering, sales and operations teams. The company is also preparing for commercial deployment, targeting use cases across AI training, inference, generative AI, edge computing and cloud-scale environments, where ultra-low-latency networking is increasingly critical.
