Zain Bahrain & Ericsson Launch Edge User Plane Technology
The collaboration aims to cut latency for enterprises and government, while supporting Industry 4.0 in alignment with the country's digital economy push.
Zain Bahrain and Ericsson have expanded their strategic partnership to empower the country's businesses and government entities with the high-performance connectivity required for the next wave of digital transformation. By introducing Ericsson’s Local Packet Gateway with Edge user plane technology, the collaboration establishes a framework for Industry 4.0, allowing both private and public sector organisations to streamline complex processes, improve operational efficiency, and achieve long-term excellence.
