5.31 Million International Visitors Enter Dubai at Start of 2025
Dubai's tourism sector grew by 3% in Q1 2025 compared to the same period last year.
Dubai recorded 5.31 million international visitors between January and March 2025, according to the latest figures released by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism. The number reflects a 3% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Several key initiatives supported the surge in visitor numbers. Dubai launched strategic partnerships to amplify its global outreach, including high-profile social media campaigns featuring celebrities such as Millie Bobby Brown and Jacob Hurley. The campaigns played a significant role in showcasing the city's appeal to new and returning audiences.
Additionally, the launch of the Dubai Sustainable Tourism Initiative made notable strides. The initiative recorded a 118% year-on-year increase in the number of tourism establishments recognised for sustainability efforts, further positioning Dubai as a city committed to responsible tourism and innovation.
