Dubai Media Council Launches ‘Stories of Our Resolve’ Film Competition

The Dubai Media Council has approved the launch of ‘Stories of Our Resolve’, a national film competition that will invite filmmakers to document stories reflecting cohesion, unity and shared experiences across the UAE.

The competition will be organised by the Dubai Films Office and is intended to use film as a way of capturing stories rooted in community, identity and collective experience.

The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.

The meeting also reviewed final preparations for the Arab Media Summit, which will take place from September 15th to 17th at Dubai World Trade Centre and bring together eight specialised forums. Preparations for the silver jubilee of the Arab Media Award were also discussed.
