AED 332 Million Project to Link Jumeirah Street & Al Khail Road
The project is part of the Umm Suqeim-Al Qudra plan to reduce congestion by creating uninterrupted routes in the area.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has initiated a major infrastructure project focused on improving connectivity between Jumeirah Street and Al Khail Road. Valued at AED 322 million, the development includes the construction of tunnels and bridges along Umm Suqeim Street, specifically from the Jumeirah Street intersection to Al Khail Road.
This project is a key part of the broader Umm Suqeim-Al Qudra corridor master plan aimed at streamlining traffic flow and reducing congestion in the Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim districts.
The planned tunnels and bridges will provide direct connections, enabling vehicles to move smoothly between key arterial roads without traffic lights or intersections slowing them down. This upgrade is expected to significantly decrease travel times, ease daily traffic pressures, and support the ongoing urban development of the area.
