Al Hilal SFC Parts Ways With Brazilian Footballer Neymar Júnior

After an injury-plagued stint and recent negotiations, Neymar Júnior and Al Hilal SFC have agreed to terminate his contract after 18 months.

Despite his high profile arrival, Neymar’s time in Saudi Arabia was halted by setbacks. After joining Al Hilal SFC in a EUR 90 million move from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2023, he had only seven appearances and scored one goal during his run. His season was cut short by a serious ACL injury in October 2023, which sidelined him for nearly a year.

Despite these challenges, reports have indicated that a deal is already in place for Neymar Júnior to return to his boyhood club, Santos.
