Amazon & DCT Abu Dhabi to Build Digital Arabic Library

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has partnered with Amazon to launch a major new initiative: a digital Arabic library that will bring thousands of Arabic-language books to readers in both eBook and audiobook formats over the next three years.

Developed with the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre, the project pairs the centre’s curatorial expertise with Amazon’s global distribution reach. The goal is to significantly expand the availability of Arabic titles in digital formats, making them more accessible to audiences worldwide.

Content will be released gradually throughout the three-year period, though an official launch date has yet to be announced.
