Autism Spectrum Treatment Centre Inaugurated at Abbasiya Hospital

The Ministry of Health and Population, alongside the Ministry of Social Solidarity, have inaugurated a new centre for autism spectrum treatment at the Abbasiya Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment. The centre provides sensory integration treatment services as well as the latest detection and diagnosis methods and early intervention methods to treat children.

The opening of this centre is part of the development of the Egyptian programme for early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorder, and plans are already in place to expand this model across all rehabilitation centres associated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
