Cairo Water Company Launches SMS Campaign to Reduce Water Consumption

The Greater Cairo Water Company has launched a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of conserving drinking water.

The SMS being sent out encourages citizens to use water-saving devices with the incentive that it will cut their water bills in half. An explanatory video demonstrates the advantages of water-saving devices, how to use them, and includes a practical experiment showcasing their effectiveness. These water-saving devices are available at the customer service centres of the Greater Cairo Water Company.

This initiative is part of the state's efforts to conserve drinking water and reduce consumption, thereby improving sustainability.
