Central Bank of Egypt Raises ATM Withdrawal Limits to EGP 30,000
Previously, the limit for ATM withdrawals was EGP 20,000, and for withdrawals from bank branches was EGP 150,000.
The Central Bank of Egypt has announced an increase in the daily maximum cash withdrawal limit from bank branches to 250,000 pounds for individuals and companies.
In a statement sent to banks across Egypt this morning, the Central Bank also stated that the maximum daily withdrawal limit from ATMs has been raised to 30,000 pounds.
The Central Bank has urged banks to review their internal policies to reflect the new limits, along with updating the maximum cash withdrawal policy for foreign currencies set by the banks, adopting them by the board of directors, and updating them periodically.
