Civil Authority Registry Launches Hotline for Vulnerable Communities
A new hotline will help vulnerable communities, including people with disabilities, process otherwise burdensome paperwork.
A new national hotline has been established by the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Status Department to help vulnerable communities in Egypt process their government paperwork, cutting through what may be otherwise burdensome official channels.
People with disabilities, elderly Egyptians, families of fallen war veterans, and individuals struggling with chronic illnesses are encouraged to call 15341 to reach the Civil Authority Registry.
The Civil Status Department recently announced that they have issued and delivered 519 National IDs through the hotline so far.
The service is part of the overall digital transformation across governmental institutions in Egypt, making lengthy paperwork processes a thing of the past.
