Debris Falls on Abu Dhabi ICAD Warehouse After Drone Interception
Debris from intercepted drones fell on a warehouse in ICAD and a commercial facility in Mussafah on March 2, causing minor building damage with no injuries reported.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office confirmed that debris fell on a warehouse in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) and a commercial facility in the Mussafah area following the successful interception of drones by air defence systems. According to an official statement, the incident resulted in minor building damage and no injuries.
The incident forms part of a rapidly escalating regional crisis. Since Iran launched its retaliatory campaign in response to US and Israeli strikes, the UAE has detected 165 ballistic missiles—destroying 152—and intercepted 541 Iranian drones, 506 of which were neutralised. Three people have been killed and 58 others injured across the country since the attacks began.
