Director Mohamed Sami Announces His Retirement
The decision follows a busy Ramadan season, during which he directed two high-profile series: Esh Esh and Seed El Nas.

Egyptian director Mohamed Sami has announced his retirement from television drama, stating his intention to pursue further studies abroad.
The decision follows a busy Ramadan season, during which he directed two high-profile 30-episode series: Esh Esh, starring Mai Omar, and Seed El Nas, starring Amr Saad.
In a Facebook post, Sami wrote: "Goodbye to television drama. This year marked my final work in TV series, where I bid farewell to this journey. It has been a long journey of about 15 years, during which I gave my all to bring joy to the Arab audience. With God's grace, I achieved success alongside many stars and worked with major production companies and networks."
Known for his commercially successful dramas, including Gaafar El Omda, El Brens, and El Ostoora, Sami’s departure signals a shift in his career as he steps away from the industry for two years to focus on academic pursuits.
