Diriyah Grand Avenue to Link Diriyah & King Saud University

Diriyah Company has unveiled plans for Diriyah Grand Avenue, a 1.9 kilometre urban corridor designed to link the historic Diriyah with King Saud University.

The project was presented during MIPIM 2026 and is intended to serve as a central connector within the wider Diriyah development.

Diriyah Grand Avenue is planned as a pedestrian-focused boulevard that brings together cultural venues, education facilities, tourism destinations and retail spaces along a single urban spine. The corridor will introduce a mix of hotels, offices, retail outlets and residential components alongside cultural landmarks.

The design follows a Najdi architectural approach intended to reflect the historical character of the area while incorporating contemporary mixed-use development.
The avenue forms part of the broader Diriyah project, a development programme valued at more than USD 60 billion.
