Dr. Zahi Hawass Launches Foundation to Preserve Egyptian Heritage
The Zahi Hawass Foundation for Antiquities and Heritage aims to promote the field of archaeology to Egyptian youth.

Egyptian archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass has inaugurated the Zahi Hawass Foundation for Antiquities and Heritage.
The foundation was established in order to fund the preservation of Egyptian heritage and antiquities, complete excavations in Luxor and Saqqara, and enhance archaeological and cultural awareness among the youth of Egypt. Dr Hawass intends to organise specialised courses and establish research grants to help enrich and enhance the field of archaeology in Egypt, as well as encourage the youth to study the subject at university and beyond.
