The General Department of Community Happiness, serving directly under Dubai’s Police Security Media Department, has launched the first issue of The Challenge magazine.
The launch of the magazine coincides with the sixth UAE SWAT Challenge of 2025, a major international competition organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior and hosted by Dubai Police at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah, Dubai. This event brings together top SWAT teams from around the world to compete in a series of tactical exercises.
The Challenge will be released annually alongside the competition in both Arabic and English. It’s made with the intent to give readers a closer look at the event, with articles covering team preparations, strategies for success, and what it takes to perform at the highest level. The magazine also includes profiles of both male and female teams, interviews with tactical leaders from countries like Moldova, South Africa, and Serbia, and feedback from the audience.
