Dubai's Ajyal Program to Raise Religious Awareness in Schools
Dubai’s Islamic Affairs Department and KHDA launch the Ajyal programme to boost religious awareness and communication skills among students, parents, and schools as part of Dubai’s Social Agenda 33.
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai, in partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), has introduced the Ajyal programme. This year-long initiative is designed to enhance religious awareness among Dubai’s school students, specifically addressing social issues.
The Ajyal programme is a key part of Dubai’s Social Agenda 33, which aims to foster a generation rooted in Islamic principles, the Arabic language and a strong national identity. It complements the Gharas Al-Khayr initiative, which focuses on bridging understanding between students, parents and educational staff.
The programme will include lectures, dialogues and workshops, featuring experienced speakers and educational experts. It seeks to develop students' communication skills, increase parental involvement, and create a unified, supportive environment in schools.
