Egypt to Study EGP 1,000 Monthly Incentive for Teachers

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education is studying a monthly incentive payment of EGP 1,000 for teachers in primary and preparatory stages, to begin in November 2025 and continue through the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This announcement came during a meeting between the minister and school principals, who were reviewing final preparations ahead of the academic year starting September 20th, 2025. In the same discussions, the ministry confirmed that all high-school curricula will be made available online via the official student books platform, including recently developed content, to ease access for both students and parents. These proposals form part of the ministry’s broader efforts to modernise education services, improve teacher support, and ensure smoother access to academic materials across Egypt.
