Dubai's Aviation Sector to Boost GDP by USD 53 Billion by 2030

Dubai’s aviation sector is set to play a pivotal role in the emirate’s economic future, with projections showing it will contribute AED 196 billion (USD 53 billion) or 32% of Dubai's GDP by 2030. This marks a significant increase from the AED 137 billion recorded in 2023, according to a report from Emirates Group, Dubai Airports, and Oxford Economics.
The core impact of aviation alone is forecast to support 386,000 jobs. Additionally, aviation-facilitated tourism is expected to contribute AED 63 billion, with job creation in the sector reaching 816,000 positions, representing a quarter of all employment in Dubai by 2030.
