EGP 700 Million Industrial Power Plant to Be Built in New October City

A new power plant that will serve the industrial zone in the New October City is currently in the works. 

The power plant will spread across a 10,000 acre area, and will cost an estimated EGP 700 million. The industrial zone will include a dry port and housing projects for workers on site.

The Ministry of Housing has given the project to two specialized companies, which will fast track the process to get the project off and maximize the efficiency of the plant.
