During the first eight months of 2024, Egypt's car imports rose to USD 1.692 billion, compared to USD 1.155 billion in the same period in 2023. This reflects a surge of USD 536.6 million, reflecting the increased demand for vehicles.
August 2024, however, showed a decline in car imports to USD 156.1 million compared to USD 297.6 million in August 2023, which contrasts with the overall growth trend observed in other months.
