Egypt’s First Centre for Special Needs Children to Be Built in NAC
The initiative, which will launch at the New Administrative Capital, is expected to expand to other governorates.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity has unveiled plans to establish Egypt’s first comprehensive education centre for children with special needs and disabilities, in cooperation with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), and Cavendish Company, a provider of special needs education.
The initiative, which will launch at the New Administrative Capital, is expected to expand to other governorates. Its goal is to promote the inclusion of individuals with disabilities into society by providing equal opportunities through a specialised education system.
During a meeting at the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, key stakeholders discussed the provision of training, technical support, and human resources for the proposed centre. They also outlined plans for an integrated training facility to prepare professionals to work with individuals with disabilities.The Ministry of Social Solidarity in cooperation with the Administrative Capital for Urban Development (ACUD), and Cavendish Company, a provider of special needs education, have unveiled plans to establish Egypt’s first comprehensive education center for children with special needs and disabilities.
