Egypt's Red Crescent Prepares Second Batch of Aid Supplies for Gaza
The batch, carrying vital medical supplies and consumables, will be dispatched to the Rafah border crossing.
Against the backdrop of unfolding events in the Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Red Crescent Society will be sending a second batch of medical and food aid in coordination with their Palestinian counterpart.
The Society's first humanitarian relief convoy, carrying vital medical supplies and consumables, was dispatched to the Rafah border crossing on Monday, October 9th.
Recognising the urgency of the situation, the Society is diligently preparing a second batch of aid. This initiative is a response to appeals made by the Palestine Red Crescent Society, ensuring that the necessary resources are provided according to the evolving priorities of the crisis.
Coordination efforts with the Red Cross, Red Crescent societies, and other humanitarian organisations are underway to ensure comprehensive support is extended to those affected.
