EgyptAir Continues Suspension of Flights to 11 Regional Destinations
Services from Cairo to Gulf and Middle East routes remain halted amid ongoing regional airspace disruptions.
EgyptAir has confirmed the continued suspension of flights from Cairo to 11 regional destinations amid escalating developments affecting air traffic operations in neighbouring countries.
The suspended routes include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Beirut, Doha, Amman, Dammam, Bahrain, Baghdad, Erbil and Kuwait. Services to these destinations will remain halted until further notice.
The national carrier said the decision follows ongoing monitoring by its Crisis Room at the Integrated Operations Center (IOCC), in coordination with relevant authorities and international outstations, as regional operational conditions continue to evolve.
EgyptAir stated that it is closely tracking developments through the IOCC and reaffirmed its commitment to applying the highest aviation safety standards to ensure the security and safety of passengers.
