EgyptAir Resumes Cargo Flights to the US After 8-Year Hiatus
This decision came after a series of thorough inspections conducted by a delegation from the US Transportation Administration.
EgyptAir has announced the resumption of cargo flights between Egypt and the United States after a hiatus that lasted more than eight years.
The decision follows a series of thorough inspections and assessments conducted by a delegation from the US Transportation Administration, which focused on evaluating security procedures implemented at Cairo International Airport as well as EgyptAir’s operations, including both passenger and cargo flights.
As opposed to regular passenger flights, cargo flights are specifically designed to transport all kinds of goods, utilizing a fixed-wing aircraft to ensure efficient and secure cargo transportation.
