Eid Al Etihad Celebrations Conclude With Spectacular Jebel Hafeet Show
The event, attended by UAE leaders, featured 33 Emirati musicians and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The UAE's 53rd Eid Al Etihad concluded on Monday with a spectacular celebration at Jebel Hafeet National Park in Al Ain, the birthplace of the UAE's founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The event, attended by leaders of the UAE’s seven emirates, featured a grand performance by 33 Emirati musicians alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It involved over 10,000 participants representing 81 nationalities. Staged in seven chapters, the performance combined drone displays, light and shadow effects, and the dramatic backdrop of the surrounding mountains to narrate the UAE's journey - from its ancient heritage to its emergence as a global leader in technology and AI.
This grand spectacle capped a week of celebrations across all seven emirates, including fireworks, parades, musical shows, and cultural events.
Eid Al Etihad, celebrated annually on December 2nd, marks the 1971 unification of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah, with Ras Al Khaimah joining shortly after, creating the United Arab Emirates.
